About us

Half Moon Ranch Retreats was born from a deep knowing that healing happens when people are given space to slow down, reconnect with nature, and remember who they are beneath the noise of everyday life. Surrounded by open land, horses, and the quiet wisdom of animals, the ranch offers a living, breathing environment where transformation is supported not just by people, but by nature itself.
The ranch was originally the home and heart of family matriarch Tammy Jo Moon and her husband, Ed. Tammy guided her family with love, curiosity, humility, and deep presence. She encouraged her children to ask questions, take what resonates, leave what does not, stay humble, and above all, be love.
Kelli, Tammy’s daughter, and her husband Drew Burns now carry that legacy forward as founders and stewards of Half Moon Ranch Retreats. After the family experienced the loss of Tammy Jo to terminal cancer in 2024, her passing ignited a deeply personal path of research into alternative and integrative healing. Through that journey, it became clear that the ranch itself is more than land. It is a container for healing that is being called to be shared.
Half Moon Ranch Retreats was created as a family effort and continues to be held that way today. The mission is to create a safe, trusted container where healing is accessible through an ever-evolving, expansive offering of modalities, ceremonies, and transformational experiences.
Kelli brings a background in leadership, business ownership, and healthcare operations, helping ground the vision in integrity and sustainability while honoring the spiritual heart of the work. Together, Kelli and Drew steward the ranch with deep respect for its past, present, and future, holding space for others to soften, heal, and return to themselves.
